Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Alfred AI, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

Alfred AI is a personal AI butler service that provides:

• AI-powered conversation and task management through 15 specialized agents
• Integration with third-party services (Gmail, Google Calendar, Amadeus, Edamam, etc.)
• Personal data management including tasks, events, meals, health, travel, and more
• Automated reminders and proactive suggestions
• Natural language processing via Anthropic Claude AI

Alfred AI is provided as a web application and may include future mobile applications.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this service
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You must not use the service if prohibited by law in your jurisdiction
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

User Account & Responsibilities

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We are not liable for any loss or damage from unauthorized account access

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the service
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the service
• Use the service to spam or send unsolicited communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

Third-Party Integrations

Alfred AI integrates with third-party services. By authorizing these integrations, you also agree to those services' terms:

• Google Terms of Service (Gmail, Calendar, Places, Search)
• Anthropic Terms of Service (AI processing)
• Edamam Terms of Use (Recipe data)
• Amadeus Terms of Use (Flight and hotel data)

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of third-party services.

AI-Generated Content

• AI responses are suggestions and should not replace professional advice
• Medical recommendations are not professional medical advice - consult a doctor
• Legal or financial suggestions are informational only - consult professionals
• Recipe nutritional data is estimated - consult a nutritionist for dietary needs
• Flight and hotel prices are subject to change - verify before booking

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

Alfred AI and all related trademarks, logos, and service marks are owned by us. The service, including its software, design, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Rights

You retain all rights to the content you create and upload (recipes, notes, journal entries, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a limited license to use this content solely to provide the service to you.

Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

Service "As Is"

Alfred AI is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• AI responses will always be accurate, complete, or reliable
• The service will meet all your specific requirements
• Defects or errors will be corrected
• Third-party integrations will always function correctly

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALFRED AI AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or your personal information
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the service
• Any errors or omissions in content or AI-generated information
• Any reliance on AI-generated medical, legal, or financial advice

Medical & Health Disclaimer

Data and Privacy

Your use of Alfred AI is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Payments & Subscriptions

Alfred AI is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, we will:

• Notify you at least 30 days in advance
• Provide clear pricing information
• Allow you to opt-out and cancel your account
• Continue offering core features for free (free tier)

Account Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through Settings → Account Management → Delete My Account. Upon deletion, all your data will be immediately and permanently deleted (see our Privacy Policy for details).

By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Abuse or misuse the service
• Fail to pay fees (if applicable in the future)
• Engage in fraudulent activities

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alfred AI and its creators from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the service
• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit or share through the service

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Sending an email notification to your registered email
• Showing an in-app notification

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service and may delete your account.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

If you have any dispute with us, you agree to first contact us at legal@hey-alfred.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alfred AI regarding the use of the service.
